Just a few more memories from Spring Break…
Ross was pretty impressed with his muscles after carrying Rayna around the pool one evening.
Rayna was tired the next day and, apparently, so was Ross. Instead of carrying her all around the pool, he handed her a flotation device.
We headed back to MSU for their annual “Bulldog Weekend.” COUNT me IN for ANY event that includes a late-night showing of ‘Toy Story 3’ in the football stadium, 100,000 pounds of broiled crawfish (being passed out freely by the fraternity guys) and whole pigs being BBQ’d on every corner! People were literally pulling meat off their grill handing it to us. At one point, a man handed me and Rayna 2 meaty and smokin’ ribs. She and I sat down in a shaded spot and enjoyed our lunch! After experiencing the campus for myself, I understand why it was voted one of the friendliest campuses!
The kids got to make pretend hamburgers. Ready for this CUTE idea?!?!
- Bun = mini Nilla Wafers
- Patty = mini Oreo cookie (remove white icing; use cookie(s) only)
- Ketchup = red icing (to hold it together on the top)
- Mustard = yellow icing (to hold it together on the bottom)
- Lettuce = coconut with green food coloring
Here’s Rayna enjoying ‘Toy Story 3’ as the sun was starting to set.
Ross enjoying showing ‘Monkey’ the campus…
Matthew took us to the local ice-cream place. I didn’t taste the ice-cream, but the LEMON & Coconut COOKIES were out-of-this-world!
We let Ross & Rayna explore this old church in the middle of town. I turned the corner & snapped this picture right before saying, “Ross… Don’t even THINK about it.”
We were in Florida just long enough to spend the afternoon on the beach and eat some crab-cakes. Rayna said, “This is the best day EVER.” It was windy on the beach, so I didn’t take any pictures. But, from the look on Ross’ face when we first pulled-up, he enjoyed the day too!
Oh my goodness, it looks and sounds like you had a BLAST! As always I LOVE all of the pics, the tiny hamburger is the cutest, Rayna dancing, up in the tree, her eyes….beautiful! I LOVE the pic of her standing in Matthew’s hands. And the pic of Ross peeking through the church door cracks me up!
Miriam- The picture of Ross looking through the church door is SOOOOOO-Ross. He’s ALWAYS up to something!
