Within the five days I was gone to Phoenix last week, everyone in my family caught a terrible cold. Each time I talked to Matthew on the phone, all I could hear was Ross or Rayna caughing or sneezing.
Since I was flying into Atlanta the same time Matthew was flying out, we were able to see one another just a few minutes. After plenty of hugs and kisses, I will always remember his very deep and romantic last words as he headed to his gate, “Don’t forget to give Rayna her medicine three times a day.”
Within a day of being home, I had lost five pounds and felt like I had been hit by a dump truck. Yep- the FLU.
So, we’re all STILL sick.
I’m ready for this to be over!
Christy, only you, could think to take pictures (especially of medicine) when you’re sick! You crack me up! I hope you feel much better soon….We’re fightning sickness around here as well 🙁
i feel for ya! we’re dealing with similar miseries here as well. all four of my children have been throwing up for days…and we’re in the process of moving. it’s been a miserable disaster. i hate cold and flu season. seriously hate it. i hope you guys feel better soon…hug ross and rayna for me.
Ryan had the flu 2 weeks ago, got him better, then Lil got a mild case of CHICKEN POXS! So I feel your pain! Hope you feel better soon! Love ya!
I was hoping you would have been away long enough to dodge the germs! Bummer! I literally lost my breath when I was looking at the final black and whites of our kiddos. I cannot put into words how much I love your work. Thank you for ALL you do for New Way Learning Academy!
