I love photography for a million reasons. In addition to giving people memories that will last forever, meeting wonderful families and being able to express myself creatively, there’s another reason I look so forward to my shoots each week… the car ride!
Since most of my ‘normal’ time is spent singing Leap Frog songs or listening to Ross and Rayna talk, I really enjoy the quiet time I soak-up on the way to my shoots. Since Missy and Marty live over an hour away from me, I had plenty of time to listen to Dr. Laura Schlessinger (talk-radio), talk to God, worship and, last but not least, stop on the side of the road to take a few pictures. (For the record, this isn’t my first encounter with these cuties. I had a pet pig in middle school. Lived inside. Potty-trained. Ate bacon like nobody’s business. Loved that pig.)
Okay… on to the super-cute, super-sweet Jackson. You probably remember Missy & Marty’s maternity session a few weeks ago. I just fell in love with Jackson. Take a look at the wrinkled and soft skin on his back…
I have a feeling this will be a very popular spot for Jackson- on his daddy’s chest…
Congratulations, Marty & Missy!
Man, thats exciting! Youknow i always think of it as a blessing for anyone to have you as their photographer, but in this case, i gotta say that i just KNOW you were blessed by being able to capture sweet moments with their little miracle 🙂
Christy you always seem to out do yourself. I can’t even begin to tell you the range of emotions I felt looking at these photos of my perfect little angel. Thank you for capturing this sweet gift.
I love the picture of the dad holding hishead, so symbolic! Great job like always! Amanda
Christy, Jackson in the white blanket just blows me away ! He was heaven sent and looks like a little angel.
Granny M (that is what Maddy named me and that is what Jackson will call me)
