If my kids were given the option to spend a day at Disney World or a day at the Creative Discovery Museum, I already know we’d end-up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. (And you could find me with a huge smile on my face since I just saved over $400 in one day!)
It had been over a year since we last visited this fun and interactive kid’s museum, so the kids were really looking forward to going back to the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga, TN.
Being alone with three kids, I was really worried about how Ruthie would do. But, it was so cute to see how much even a 9 month old could enjoy it! Honestly, I think SHE had as much fun as Ross and Rayna! Here’s a few from her favorite spot at the water station…
Ray loved redirecting the water tunnels too!
Not only does their roof top over look the city, they are also growing lots of veggies and herbs. The kids weren’t impressed with their garden, but I was!
All it takes to impress a 9 month old is another baby’s foot to chew on…
I took the first photo over a year ago. It’s cute seeing the difference…
Here’s one of Rayna…
Didn’t know I had taken the same EXACT photo on our last trip until I looked at my blog post from almost 2 years ago…
Can I offer a few TIPS if you’re thinking about visiting?!?!
#1: Be sure to ask a local hotel if they have a coupon. Our hotel gave us coupons for $1 off each ticket (so it was around $10 a person).
#2: If you’re looking for a good lunch place with great burgers and shakes, I love Cheeburger Cheeburger! Just like the museum tickets… ASK if there are any coupons available! Our hotel gave us a voucher for free fries!
It’s not a fancy spot, but it’s PERFECT if you’re looking for a kid-friendly spot close to everything.
But MOST importantly, just LOOK at ALL of these FREE toppings! (For the record, I got EVERYTHING but peanut butter and pineapple. And, yes… I DID have to eat it with a fork!)
Looks like a BLAST! I would love to take Abigail sometime. Great photos!!
Side note: I am obsessed with Cheeburger Cheeburger. Awesome burgers, amazing milkshakes…kid friendly! 🙂
Christy… These pictures are just beautiful of all three of the children. I really like the dresses that the girls have on. They are just perfect. Love the pictures, the subjects, the photography and the photographer. Thanks for sharing them with us!
Christy,
The kids are growing up so fast. They are so beautiful. I never realized how much Rayna looks like your mom. (BTW-Bill agrees also). Enjoy each and every moment because time passes so quickly.
P.S. We need to make an appointment soon for Ben’s senior pictures.
