Ross’ birthday was spent eating cookie cake, playing laser tag and riding bikes. Apparently, that’s all an 8-year old needs.
Since most all of our evenings are spent playing outside in our cul-de-sac, the kids have really started to enjoy riding their bikes. Even Ruthie has joined the big-kid club…
Ruthie was NOT happy when Matthew decided to leave her side to ride with Ross…
But she quickly recovered when she realized he would eventually return to her…
There’s NO convincing Ruthie that she’s not a big kid too…

The last picture (on the right) was taken of Ruthie walking to Matthew. When I saw it, I remembered that Rayna use to do the SAME EXACT thing when she saw Matthew. I had to put the two side-by-side. Aside from a few months difference (and a bald head vs. tons of curls already), they look a lot alike, don’t they?!?!
