Timmy, Missy & Grady

Missy warned me weeks before the shoot that Timmy and Grady were just interested in having fun.  That sounded great to me.  And, we DID have a great time!  There’s nothing I love more than chasing around a 5-year old little boy.  (I feel so lucky to be doing what I love and having so much fun while I’m doing it!)
All of their eyes are so blue- I love how they stand out in the family shot!

Miriam & Micah

Is it just me, or, is Micah not the most squeezeable, kissable, loveable little boy?  I wish Stacy, his twin (aka: dad) could have gotten off of work in time to make it.  But, there’s always next time!

Madeline & Will

Madeline and Will’s parents have done an incredible job of raising two wonderfully sweet, polite, friendly and loving kids.  Not only was it super-easy to photograph them both, it was very enjoyable as well.

Chuck, Erin and the boys

I first met Chuck and Erin in an awesome small group at our church in Georgia.   I share a love for cows with Chuck and a love for photography with Erin, who is also a photographer.  So, I was really honored when she asked me to photograph her family.  (Plus, I don’t even want to tell you how far they drove to meet me for my only opening at Watson Mill Bridge!)
By the way, don’t you just LOVE the colors they wore?  I just noticed, although there were plenty of black and white, I only posted the color images.  I think it’s because of how much I love the bright, fall colors and contrast.

Missy, Marty & Maddy

Missy probably thought I was crazy when she emailed to schedule a session and I asked, “Can we start at your house?”  I must admit, since I first saw pictures of Missy and Marty’s house, I LOVED it!  So, we started there and then went to Watson Mill Bridge State Park.  (Which was awesome!)

Chad, Farrah, Hayden & Hudson

Farrah called me this morning to check on her Sneak Peeks.  I really love it when my clients are as excited about their images as I am.  Since it’s already 11pm in Arizona, I’m guessing she is asleep in Georgia right now.  Hopefully, this will be a nice surprise when she checks the blog Wednesday morning!

Kelly & Jeff

It had been four years since Kelly and Jeff had professional photographs taken together.  So, we took enough pictures to make-up for the time in between!  I had to post Spud alone.  Besides, he’s the only dog I know who had his own myspace account!

Happy Birthday, Jennifer!

I wanted to give Jennifer a little birthday treat.  (So, I may not get ALL of your images tonight.  But, at least you’ll have your Sneak Peeks!)
This session started with a GIANT hug from Skyler.  (I LOVE that boy!)  He was kind and cute and sweet and very affectionate with Jennifer.  Oh, and so handsome!  What more can you ask for?

3 Families, 2 Sessions = Lots of pictures to post!

It may seem like I’m moving a little slow with my Sneak Peeks.  But, my clients will be happy to know, as I’m posting your Sneak Peeks, all of your other images are loading on my website!  (And for this family, that means a LOT of pictures!)
I photographed Steven, Cory, Josi, Noah, Isabella & Gabriella first.  Then, Steven’s parents (who had just celebrated their 38th anniversary the day before) and his sister’s family joined us afterwards for a combined family session.
There were 6 adults and 6 children.  And, this group was so great, we actually finished a few minutes early.  Lots of pictures… lots of laughs… It’s great working with a family who just enjoyed themselves!

Jeff, Meghan & Kohen

Saturday morning started with Jeff, Meghan and Kohen (6-months).  Right when I saw Jeff, I knew I had met him before.  Turns out, he and Matthew played Flag Football with a group from 12Stone several years ago.  Then, I happen to run into him again at 12Stone the next morning.  He sat right in front of us.   Small world.
Well, as you can see, Kohen was as cute and sweet as could be.  Even Lily, their first child, was being very photogentic!

Mandy, Ivy & Kara

I hadn’t seen Mandy since I photographed her wedding over two years ago.  But for this session, instead of focusing on her and Otis like last time, I got to photograph their two beautiful, little girls.  The weather could not have been any better.  And, thankfully, the sprinkles didn’t come until we were finished.

Trip to the ER

I had just finished a session in Scottsdale, early to my next shoot just down the road, when I saw I had a missed call from Matthew.  As I listened to my new voice mail, all I heard was Rayna screaming and something about, “We’re going to the emergency room.”
I rushed home and met Matthew on his way to the ER.  Turns out, Rayna had pulled our (super-duper, heavy-duty) barstoll over on her while Matthew was cooking dinner.
The doctor used glue instead of stitches and said the scar shouldn’t be that bad.  This picture was taken a few minutes ago.  Her cut already looks MUCH better this morning.
